"A sketch has charm because of its truth—not because it is unfinished."—Charles Hawthorne

Saturday night we went into the city to dine and relax for a bit. Chewie stayed home, given free range of the living room. (She did very well!) The restaurant has paper covered tables along with crayons for diners to play with. Below are some of JG's masterpieces and our views for each piece.

"Long Corgi Smile" (2011)—J.G.

ME: The truth of this sketch is that corgis... are long.
JG: Corgis are long.
"Long Corgi Smile, perspective" (2011)—J.G

ME: The truth of this sketch is not of the head that is unrealistically large in relation to the body but of the hind legs forever captured in a hopping motion—emphasizing the bunny-hoppiness of the breed.
JG: Corgis are long.
